You will leverage advanced tools and analytical techniques to identify trends, surface insights, and influence data solutions, all while contributing to a culture that values data quality, collaboration, and innovation.Key Responsibilities of the RolePrepare and submit regulatory reports accurately and on timeEnsure adherence to and reinforcement of delivery best practicesActively engaged in the design and implementation of repeatable processesChampion data quality, integrity, and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practicesPartner with IT, data engineering, and other BI organizations to advance data & analytical capabilities throughout the enterpriseAnalyze and validate financial data; identify trends, discrepancies, and anomaliesTrack regulatory updates and adapt reporting processes accordinglyMaintain documentation of processes and support internal/external auditsIdentify improvement opportunities in reporting systems and workflowsAssume department responsibility as the Data Steward ensuring the fitness of data elementsCollaborate regularly with IT, Analytics, Actuarial, Finance, and other Business units to ensure data is accurateDisplay critical thinking and evaluation when researching and responding to inquiries and referralsDevelop and utilize BI solutions effectively (reports, analytics, data pulls, insights, etc.)Meet with stakeholders to understand needs and provide insights that help meet profit, growth, and expense goalsGuide & influence strategic data solutionsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years of related experienceOr 4 years of related experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesPrevious regulatory reporting or insurance experienceWorking knowledge of Azure DevOps or other code repositoriesExperience with object-oriented programming languages, such as PythonAdvanced Alteryx expertiseAdvanced SQL expertiseData Modeling experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to set priorities and plans to meet business goals and objectivesAbility to shift & balance strategic, high-level thinking with attention to detailAbility to lead, motivate & influence without having formal authorityAbility to act as a thought leader with a focus on innovative & high-quality solutionsAbility to work both independently and in a team environment with internal /external customersAbility to understand, design & implement end-to-end BI workflowsStrong organizational, planning & problem-solving skillsStrong communication & interpersonal skillsAbility to understand Central Insurance's policies and processesTotal RewardsCentral establishes base pay based on several factors including labor market data and an evaluation of candidate qualifications relative to role requirements.
