What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit using the nursing process
• Assess patient learning needs and provide education tailored to pediatric patients and their families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and manage patient care plans
• Delegate responsibilities effectively to licensed and ancillary team members
• Document clinical findings, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Adapt care strategies to meet diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious needs
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and hospital regulations

What You Need

• Required:
  
  
  • Active RN license in Louisiana
  • BLS & PALS Certifications
  • CPI Certification (Crisis Prevention Institute)
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU experience
  • Proficiency with healthcare software and record-keeping
  • Effective communication skills
• Preferred:
  
  
  • Certifications in clinical specialty areas in pediatric nursing
  • Additional relevant certifications or training
