Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our state-of-the-art facility situated in Garland, TX. This hospital setting is designed to support advanced medical practices and ensure the highest level of patient care. Our team comprises tenured professionals who foster an atmosphere of support and education, enabling you to practice at the peak of your license without the pressures of on-call responsibilities. This position is structured around a standard 5-day work week, totaling 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel while attending to physician overflow cases to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Provide full support to Medical Doctors within our team, enhancing collaborative practices.
• Conduct a variety of procedures including IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, women's wellness exams, and colposcopies (provided training is completed).
• Utilize our EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for accurate documentation and streamlined patient management.
• Engage in regular training sessions and participate in our Advanced Practice Clinician council, fostering a supportive environment for your continued professional development.
• Contribute to leadership training initiatives and explore opportunities for career advancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in women's health, providing care to a diverse population of patients primarily seeking obstetric and gynecological services. Your role will directly impact patient experiences as you collaborate with them to develop personalized care plans, addressing a wide range of concerns from routine wellness to complex health issues.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted State Medical License are mandatory.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited program; a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is required for this role, along with compliance to booster regulations where applicable.
• Strong experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, along with proficiency in EPIC EMR, is highly preferred.
• Possess excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and effective time management.

Preferred Experience

• At least one year of relevant clinical experience is preferred, ideally in an OB/GYN setting.
• Training or experience in performing procedures related to women’s health is a significant advantage.
• A demonstrated capacity for active listening and collaborative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
