Manufacturing Engineer

We're recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading metal processing manufacturer in the North East Columbia area. This is an excellent opportunity to improve manufacturing processes across metal fabrication, powder coating and assembly operations while supporting continuous improvement, quality and production performance. What You'll Do Develop and improve manufacturing processes, tooling and production workflows Support powder coating, assembly and metal fabrication operations Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and technical specifications Create and maintain routings, bills of materials and manufacturing documentation Support MRP/MRPII systems and production planning Participate in FMEA and continuous improvement activities Design tooling and fixtures for welded assemblies Investigate manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions Provide technical support to Production, Engineering and Quality teams What We're Looking For Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Experience within metal fabrication or metal processing manufacturing Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T Experience with MRP/MRPII systems Knowledge of powder coating, assembly or welding processes Experience with CAD software Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills SPC, cost analysis or robotic welding experience is an advantage 401(k) Life Insurance Paid Time Off Training and career development Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
