Location: Waimea, Hawaii

Pay Rate: $2,400 $2,616 Per Week

Contract: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Flexible Shifts | Days/Nights

Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Labor and Delivery and Couplet Care Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery (L&D) / Obstetrics (OB) for a 13-week contract assignment in Waimea, Hawaii. This role supports a 5-bed OB unit providing care across Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Outpatient Testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for laboring mothers, high-risk obstetric patients, postpartum patients, and newborns while working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Well-Baby patients.

• Manage high-risk OB cases including PIH, placenta previa, placental abruption, VBAC, GDM, PROM, PTL, and other obstetric conditions.

• Monitor and interpret fetal heart rates and administer or titrate medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin drips.

• Assist with C-sections, epidurals, newborn resuscitation, phototherapy, circumcisions, and neonatal care.

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate documentation, and float to other departments as needed based on census.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Required; Hawaii RN License Required by Start Date.

• Minimum 2 Years of Labor and Delivery and Couplet Care Experience Required.

• Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery, and Antepartum Experience Required.

• BLS/BCLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring Certification Required.

• Must Be Flexible to Work Day or Night Shifts, Complete 80 Hours Every 2 Weeks, and Provide Required Holiday Coverage.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn nursing care throughout the obstetric continuum.
