Compensation and Benefits Competitive Salary: $35–$45 per hour On‑Call Pay: $150 per scheduled shift Paid Time Off: 48 hours initial; increases to 168 hours with tenure Paid Holidays: 7 annually (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas) $3,500 cash bonus (Kickoff Tech Program) 40 additional floating holidays (Kickoff Tech Program) $1,250 technical training reimbursement (Kickoff Tech Program) 401(k) match: 5% employer contribution Comprehensive benefits: health, life, and disability coverage Corporate discounts through ADP Annual boot voucher to stay equipped with the right gear Company vehicle, cell phone, and tablet provided Technical training and development opportunities Career development and clear paths for advancement and relocation Growth and relocation opportunities Your Role Conduct scheduled maintenance, service requests, repairs, and equipment changeouts Work with a support team that includes dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources Be equipped with a fully stocked service van, iPad, iPhone, and required PPE Respond to emergency service requests Perform preventative maintenance and recommend repairs to avoid unplanned downtime Provide observations about facility conditions and make recommendations for enhancement and repair Complete paperwork in a timely manner and report job assignments accurately Primary Qualifications At least 3–6 years of HVAC experience with demonstrated experience in Commercial HVAC Position performed remotely, but may require travel to client locations for training, meetings, and other events EPA certification required Willingness to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Must meet enhanced security clearance requirements Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks Flexibility to work overtime as needed with some travel required Physical requirements: climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs., lift up to 75 lbs., and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics) Skills Service and install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Service and install new ice machines Perform routine maintenance on ice machines and refrigeration Assess and troubleshoot commercial HVAC to determine required repairs Inspect and perform equipment repair and replacements Perform routine preventative maintenance and recommend preventative repairs to avoid unplanned downtime Respond to emergency service requests Provide observations about facility mechanical conditions and deficiencies and offer recommendations for enhancement and repair Participate in and assist with facility-related projects Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Able to work on lite commercial equipment Excellent customer service skills Complete paperwork in a timely manner Work with minimal supervision Experience with industry software preferable but not required Benefits of Working With BGIS ITS Company vehicle, phone, and tablet provided Competitive salary Health, life, and disability benefits package 7 paid holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas) Corporate perks through ADP 401(k) plan with employer match Technical training and development opportunities Growth and relocation opportunities Think you have what it takes to be a BGIS HVAC Technician?
