This position has typical work hours Monday Friday from 7:30AM 5:00PM

Job Summary:

Family owned and operated tire distribution facility seeks delivery driver/warehouse associate. Duties include (but are not limited to) unloading and loading trucks, driving box trucks/vans to deliver merchandise to customers, collecting payment at time of delivery, interacting with customers, forklift use, pulling orders and putting away stock, general clean up and organization, etc.

Essential Functions and Tasks:

• Assist the Warehouse Manager and/or Store Manager in shipping and receiving customer tires
• Load, unload, stack and lift tires
• Deliver tires to customers
• Use of certain warehouse equipment, including forklift operation
• Retain forklift certification
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in a driving role (preferred)
• Valid Forklift certification (onsite training certification available)
• Valid Driver's License
• Clean driving record

Required Physical Abilities:

Physical requirements of this position may require a range of activities. These can include, but are not limited to:

• Lifting and carrying the ability to lift and transport objects of specified weights, which may vary by job. For example, a job may require lifting up 25-50lbs regularly.
• Standing and walking this position will require standing and walking for periods of time
• Bending and stooping bending, stooping, or crouching are requiring to effectively preform essential duties of this position.
• Reaching and pushing/pulling the ability to reach for items, push carts, or pull equipment will be necessary for daily activities.
• Sitting there will be times this position will be needed to sit for prolonged periods of time.
• This position will also be required to operate certain machinery and other equipment safely.

Work Environment:

This position will require employees to work in certain weather conditions, such as heat, cold, as well as potentially confined spaces.
