We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Data Processing Clerk to support administrative, inventory, and logistics operations for an established metals distribution and processing organization in Pittsburgh, PA.

This position focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipping and receiving documentation, resolving data discrepancies, and coordinating information between internal departments and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

· Accurately enter, update, and verify inventory and transaction information.

· Prepare and process shipping and receiving documentation.

· Review bills of lading (BOL) and reconcile shipping records with electronic data.

· Investigate and correct discrepancies involving inventory and shipment information.

· Coordinate with vendors, warehouse personnel, and management to ensure accurate information flow.

· Provide general administrative support, including filing, document preparation, and record maintenance.

· Maintain organized electronic and physical records.

· Follow established administrative procedures and operational guidelines.

· Prioritize daily assignments to support efficient distribution and inventory operations.

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

· Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.

· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

· Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience in data entry, clerical support, or inventory administration.

· Familiarity with shipping and receiving paperwork, including bills of lading.

· Experience in distribution, warehouse operations, manufacturing, or logistics.
