Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What you bring:
- Current Alabama SLP license and valid teaching certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience in a school setting, working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Commitment to helping students succeed in all aspects of communication
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain clear and accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and communications
- Offer support and guidance to staff and families regarding students' communication challenges
- Stay up to date with best practices in school-based speech and language therapy
