- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Equivalent
- 3 years of proven experience in complete vehicle layout/package, including Body and Trim
- Strong familiarity with legislative requirements affecting the Design Feasibility process
- Demonstrated experience in leading and presenting to decision-making forums
- Strong understanding of the production processes
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Master's Degree
- Basic understanding and experience as a Design Release Engineer
- Basic understanding and experience in Structural Engineering
- Lead Studio property set up, and integrity including content, data pedigree, ride height, manikin drop, and overall suitability
- Lead completion of studies within Design Feasibility FC Process from FC0 to K6
- Guide initial theme set-up, and development through or in advance of functional, supplier, or attribute inputs
- Develop and maintain Surface Scaffold files to enable Physical and Digital model development
- Provide concept alternatives and provocations to support the reconciliation of thematic intent with functional and program assumptions
