Location: Liberty, NC
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00pm–11:00pm)
Pay: Starting at $17.00. Higher starting pay may be available based on manufacturing or extrusion experience.

Americhem is hiring a 2nd Shift Machine Operator at our Liberty, North Carolina manufacturing facility. In this role, you will operate equipment, monitor production, complete basic machine setups, and help produce high-quality plastic compounds and color concentrates.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment. 
• Make simple adjustments to help keep production running smoothly. 
• Assist with machine setup and changeovers. 
• Check products to ensure they meet quality standards. 
• Collect samples and complete basic production records. 
• Help identify and resolve basic equipment or production issues. 
• Complete routine cleaning and basic machine care. 
• Use a forklift or tow motors to move materials when needed. 
• Follow all safety and quality procedures. 
• Work with team members to support production and continuous improvement. 

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or GED equivalent. 
• Ability to work 1st shift in a manufacturing environment. 
• Basic math and measurement skills. 
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team. 
• Commitment to safety and quality. 

Preferred

• Manufacturing, production, machine operation, extrusion, plastics, or industrial experience. 
• Forklift or tow motor experience. 
• Mechanical or hands-on experience. 
• Experience working with production equipment.
