The Private Equity Fund Accounting team partners with some of the industry's most sophisticated investment managers, providing end-to-end accounting and fund administration services for complex investment structures. The business continues to invest heavily in technology, process improvement, and employee development, offering strong long-term career progression. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Fund Accountants and Supervisors. Manage multiple client relationships and oversee day-to-day service delivery. Review and maintain general ledgers and supporting accounting records. Review financial statements, capital account statements, and supporting workpapers. Oversee investor allocations and fund-level accounting activities. Review capital calls, distributions, transfers, and other investor transactions. Review management fee, carried interest, waterfall, and other complex fee calculations. Ensure deliverables are completed accurately and within agreed deadlines. Serve as the primary contact for senior client stakeholders. Provide technical accounting guidance on private equity fund structures. Support new fund launches, client onboardings, and operational transitions. Partner with internal groups including operations, financial reporting, tax, and investor services. Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors. Review partnership agreements, offering documents, and other governing fund documentation. Assist with implementing and maintaining fund structures within the accounting platform. Complete ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as required. Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: 5+ years of private equity fund accounting experience. Previous experience leading and developing accounting teams. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and alternative investment fund accounting. Experience with capital activity, financial reporting, and investor allocations. Familiarity with waterfall and carried interest calculations is preferred. Experience reviewing financial statements and general ledger activity. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced Excel skills; experience with private equity fund accounting systems (such as Investran or similar platforms) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr Hemans.
