Experience Director/Pastor - Anaheim

Description The Experience Director/Pastor’s primary role is to oversee the vision and strategy of the weekend experience at their respective campus. They hold the standard of the Saddleback weekend experience from streets to seats. Along with that, they also assist in helping people take their next faith steps with new believers and baptisms at their campus. What You Will Do Lead and coordinate weekend “First Impression” ministry teams in support of campus church services and events. Build leaders, build teams, and develop people to handle the responsibilities of ministry for the church that ultimately helps people cross the line of faith and build a deep relationship with Christ. Recruit and oversee ministry leaders, volunteers, and teams: meet with people to find the right team for them, meet with leaders to help them develop leadership skills, and empower leaders to achieve ministry goals. Assist campus pastor and/or campus staff on partnering with volunteers on special events, logistics, and coordination; plan and execute logistical plans for effective on‑campus and off‑campus special events. Develop property/campus systems: coordinate all property logistics and maintenance; recruit and lead volunteers for on‑campus grounds upkeep, repairs, and maintenance; coordinate janitorial services, vendors, and volunteers; manage and coordinate inventory and supply logistics for campus property and church “First Impression” ministries; coordinate and manage all repair requests for facilities, vehicles, and equipment. Oversee and lead people to next faith steps that include fresh start (new believer’s kit), baptisms, and newcomers connection events. What You Have Done (Qualifications) Ability to speak Spanish is highly desirable. Experience in coordinating multiple events, preferably in a church setting. Experience with leadership principles. Administration. Project management. Systems development. Working with others toward common goals. Must be able to teach in some capacity and be able to communicate core truths of scripture.
