Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years License: Active Nursing License in good standing Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: All time-off requests must be included with candidate's submission Description: The unit has 25 beds plus hall space. There is a nurse/patient ratio of 1:3 to 1:5. Charge nurses are present but not assigned to travelers. Nurse aides are available in the unit. Weekends and holiday work are required, with a rotating schedule. Scrub color is flexible. Telemetry skills are required. Nurses must be able to read strips. Knowledge of drips and vents is necessary. Clientist services are available. An IV team is not present. Respiratory therapy is available 24/7. Pharmacy services are not available 24/7. Shifts include evening and night options. There is no floating requirement. Floor-specific orientation is provided. The unit serves all ages and is a designated stroke center. Cancellation policy allows for up to 2 shifts to be canceled per 13 weeks. Travelers cannot volunteer to leave or refuse shifts without impacts to guaranteed hours.
