Position Overview
- Disability evaluation clinic
- Physical exam evaluations only (no treatment, no prescribing)
- Typical volume: 1 to 8 claimants per day
- Adult population
- Electronic documentation required (DBQs and medical opinions) within an EMR and case management system
- Complete charting and submit within 24 to 48 hours of the exam
- Comfortable performing sensitive exams for male and female patients (including PAPs and pelvic exams)
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations including history review, focused exam, and functional impact assessment
- Review and analyze medical records, diagnostic results, and supporting documentation
- Accurately document findings, medical opinions, and required forms per program guidelines
- Work with quality assurance through the case management system as needed
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- At least 1 year of NP or PA experience
- NPI required
- Strong computer skills (Windows, Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel)
- Strong time management, organization, and communication skills
- Comfort with web based exam forms and EMR documentation
- Credentialing completed through an online portal (timelines vary; plan roughly 30 days depending on provider responsiveness)
- Required training modules must be completed prior to scheduling
