Controls Engineer

Seeking a Controls Engineer with strong experience in industrial automation, process controls, and fluid processing systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in PLC programming, HMI development, electrical design, instrumentation, and startup/commissioning activities. Experience within fluid process industries such as food & beverage, dairy, sanitary processing, water treatment, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred.Required QualificationsPLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley PLC5, SLC, Logix; Ignition a plus)HMI development experience (FactoryTalk View, Wonderware, Ignition)Knowledge of industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet)Low-voltage electrical design and AutoCAD drafting experienceStrong electrical troubleshooting and instrumentation skillsExperience with control panels, motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and power distributionAbility to read and interpret P&IDsStrong technical communication and documentation skillsExperience in fluid process industries such as food & beverage, dairy, sanitary processing, water treatment, or similar environmentsPreferred QualificationsVFD selection and commissioning (Allen-Bradley PowerFlex preferred)UL 508A panel design knowledgeCIP systems and sanitary process experienceSQL Server/database experiencePID loop design and tuningProject management and startup/commissioning experienceBenefitsVacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocationTelecommute
