Legal Secretary

Job Full Description Position: Legal Secretary Location: Texarkana, AR Hours: M-F, 37 1/2 hours Pay: $17-18/hour, DOE Benefits: NO Health insurance offered at this time, all major Holidays off We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Secretary to provide administrative and clerical support in a busy legal office. The ideal candidate will have strong typing and computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, type, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports Answer and direct phone calls and assist clients in a professional manner Maintain and organize legal files, records, and confidential documents Schedule appointments, meetings, and court-related deadlines Perform data entry and general administrative duties Create and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Prepare documents and correspondence using Microsoft Word Assist attorneys with document preparation, filing, and other administrative needs Track deadlines and ensure documents are completed and submitted on time Make copies, scan documents, process mail, and maintain office records Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Qualifications: Previous legal or administrative office experience preferred Strong typing skills with accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently Texarkana, AR 1125 4323 Jefferson Avenue Texarkana, AR 71854 Express Employment Professionals Defunct
