Physical Therapist - Part-time

Role Overview This position involves evaluating and treating patients primarily in rehab and LTAC hospitals based on clinical needs. Duties include conducting initial and discharge assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans to achieve functional goals, documenting patient progress in the EMR, and educating patients, families, and staff as appropriate. The role requires effective communication with interdisciplinary team members, outside physicians, and vendors, as well as preparing equipment orders. Key Responsibilities Perform assessments, set goals, and document treatment plans and progress. Develop and deliver timely, goal-oriented therapy interventions. Identify educational needs and provide PRN therapy. Participate as a collaborative team member and serve as a mentor or CI for interns. Engage in hospital-specific skills checks and training. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctoral Degree preferred. At least 1 year of experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, or Acute settings preferred. GA PT license or eligibility, BLS certification. Basic computer literacy required.
