• Conduct thorough intake assessments and screenings to assess the mental health needs of clients, establishing effective and personalized treatment plans.

• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention for clients experiencing various emotional and psychological challenges.

• Develop and facilitate therapy groups and workshops aimed at personal development and coping strategies for clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, and stress management.

• Collaborate with community organizations and health professionals to ensure comprehensive support and resources for clients.
\n
• Engage in outreach efforts that promote mental health awareness, such as community seminars, wellness events, and other initiatives to educate the public regarding mental health issues.

• Maintain detailed, confidential records of client interactions and progress, strictly adhering to ethical and legal standards in documentation.

The focus of this role includes a diverse range of client populations, predominantly consisting of individuals from various socioeconomic backgrounds who are seeking mental health support in a community setting. Your work will center around understanding the unique challenges faced by these individuals, including those influenced by cultural, social, and economic factors, and providing tailored therapeutic solutions that promote healing and resilience.

• Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; candidates with a Master's or doctoral degree are preferred.

• Strong understanding of mental health considerations specific to community health settings, with demonstrated experience in delivering effective therapeutic interventions.

• Ability to communicate effectively and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, along with strong interpersonal skills for teamwork and collaboration.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies and strategies that are particularly suited for a community health context.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage a diverse caseload effectively.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly within a community health or school setting.

• Experience in crisis intervention and group therapy facilitation is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy methods is a plus.
