Registered Nurse – Cardiology
Details regarding shift times and days of the week will be provided upon application.
Contract length and guaranteed hours/week will be discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor: Required
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards and nursing processes.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff.
- Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment.
- Collect and analyze relevant patient health data to determine diagnosis and care issues.
- Develop and implement care plans to promote health and a safe environment.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
