A leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. Position Type Full-time or part-time Benefits A fun work environment where you can positively influence others Flexible scheduling (and closed on Sundays) Learning first‑hand from an experienced Operator and Restaurant Leaders Intentional growth and development to help you reach your professional goals Scholarship opportunities Competitive pay Free employee break meal (see leadership for additional information) Responsibilities Works under the influence of each Director in the business (Talent, Guest Experience, Sales & Brand Growth, Financial Stewardship) Participate operationally in day‑to‑day activities in high-volume, fast‑paced restaurants, including using all systems and checklists provided Enhance the guest's experience by showing care to our guests and team Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick‑fil‑A standards Represent Chick‑fil‑A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our purpose, mission, values and culture at the highest level every day Assist in training of the team, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder Count drawers or record inventory loss Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Manage team member behavioral and performance issues Qualifications Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Ability to be a good steward with a growth‑mindset who strives for excellence Ability to be a good servant with a caring heart who enjoys what they do Ability to be a good example with high integrity who develops others Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
