Cashier/Customer Service Representative

Ski's Truck & RV Sales is looking for a motivated Cashier/Customer Service Representative to manage sales transactions and support the sales team at our RV Parts and Accessories Store.  

 
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and knowledge of how cash registers operate. You should also be available to work two Saturdays a month. Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and will help us maximize customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer sales transactions and collect payments using a cash register and credit card machine. Issue receipts, exchanges, and/or returns. 
• Track transactions and accurately balance the drawer on a daily basis. 
• Greet customers upon entering/leaving the store. 
• Maintain a clean checkout area and assist with cleaning the store as needed. 
• Scan products to ensure correct pricing. 
• Process new inventory, stock shelves and assist sales team with merchandise and displays in the store.
• Assist with product sales in the RV Parts & Accessories store and on the phone. 
• Assist with camper/RV sales on our 9-acre outdoor lot.
• Ability to prepare camper sales paperwork and take deposits on units.
• Assist the sales team with camper marketing sheets and floor plans, as well as camper staging.
• Assist with camper service paperwork and coordination.

Essential Job Skills: 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills. 
• Knowledge of a cash register, credit card machine, and POS. 
• Good math skills.
• General camper/RV knowledge preferred (or willing to learn).
• Superior organization and communication skills. 
• Be willing to learn and work effectively with other members of the sales team. 
• Must have weekend availability: Able to work at least two Saturdays per month (8 am to 1 pm).
• Able to stand/walk for long periods of time. 
• Able to lift 30 lbs. or more to move inventory in the store.
• A valid driver's license and good work/attendance record required.
