Operations/Research Analyst, Journeyman

The Operations/Research Analyst, Journeyman provides comprehensive research and analysis support for the task order for US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM); Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center; Engineering and Systems Integration (ESI) Directorate. Job Responsibilities Performs professional and scientific work requiring the design, development, and adaptation of mathematical and statistical modeling and scientific methods to analyze operational problems. Supports program reviews, meetings, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned. Provides cost estimating expertise to all personnel, at all organizational levels, on matters pertaining to the development, availability, and application of cost analysis methodology. Prepares, develops, and reviews program office estimates (POEs). Provides guidance and review of Government Cost Estimates. Conducts cost studies to facilitate the development of acquisition documentation for all aspects of lifecycle management. Provides subject matter expertise in the execution of Army and Department of Defense cost-saving efforts (i.e., Will/Should Cost initiatives). Prepares miscellaneous cost reports provided to senior level management. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience and/or AS/AA or 2yr Tech School; or HS/GED w/ 10 years or military experience E5 and up Knowledgeable with Department of Defense cost policies (e.g., DoDI 5000.73) as well as component policies (e.g., Department of the Army’s Cost Analysis Manual). TS/SCI Clearance Salary & Benefits Salary Range: $96,300 - $118,089 (general guideline).
