Job Responsibilities
  • Cultivate Customized Treatment Approaches: Clearly assess patients' needs and design tailored therapy plans to help them accomplish their personal goals
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices to bolster patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks
  • Collaborate with Diverse Care Teams: Work in harmony with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Offer guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic methods to encourage progress outside the clinical settings
  • Track and Document Patient Progress: Regularly assess treatment outcomes and modify care plans as necessary to ensure effective healing
Qualifications
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
  • Ongoing education and professional development supported and encouraged
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
