Key Responsibilities Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems Handle cash, credit card, and digital payment transactions with precision Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service throughout their visit Maintain detailed knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and pricing to answer customer questions Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery Maintain clean and organized work areas, including cash register stations and customer seating areas Execute proper food safety and sanitation procedures according to health department standards Resolve customer concerns professionally and elevate issues to management when necessary Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cashier or customer service experience in food service environment preferred Strong mathematical skills for handling cash transactions and making change Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends Preferred Qualifications Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills Experience with restaurant POS systems Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain Previous experience in Mexican cuisine or similar fast‑casual dining Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments Technical Skills Proficiency with cash registers and POS systems Basic computer skills for order processing Understanding of payment processing proceduresKnowledge of food safety protocols Ability to operate basic restaurant equipment Schedule and Compensation We offer both full‑time and part‑time positions with flexible scheduling options. Day, night, and overnight shifts are available to accommodate various availability preferences.
