Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a dedicated Physical Therapist for a local school near Chester, PA. This is a full-time, onsite role working 35 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and extending until June 10, 2027. You'll engage with a small caseload focused on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID), mainly in low incidental classroom environments. Your expertise will empower students to achieve greater mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications:

• Current and active Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania
• Proven school-based experience required
• Confidence in working within urban educational settings
• Experience collaborating with students on the ASD and ID spectrum
• Ability to provide PT services across K-12 grade levels
• Willingness to obtain or update all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
• Must be prepared to share licensure documentation during the application process

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, onsite physical therapy services to a manageable caseload in K-12 settings
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and families to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Complete thorough documentation and progress reports for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Adapt therapy techniques to align with students’ unique needs and IEP goals
• Utilize creativity and compassion to motivate students in their progress
