RN Long Term Care (LTC)

The Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing practice, applying age- and population‑specific standards appropriate to the clinical setting. Provide preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment for residents in all phases of care. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, educate residents, and perform various nursing interventions. Serve as charge nurse when requested and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel within the scope of their competencies. Support delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolve care and service concerns. Operate within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules. Current, unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs, or possess multistate licensure through a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
