Job Purpose The Medical Value and Outcomes Liaison (MVOL) is a field-based non-promotional US medical expert responsible for advancing scientific exchange and building strategic relationships with national population health decision makers (PHDMs) and within identified strategic accounts. This position will serve as a compliant medical partner supporting market access strategy through scientific exchange of the clinical and pharmacoeconomic value of PTI therapies/pipeline products to key PHDM stakeholders in community oncology, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDN), payor, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), and clinical pathway organizations. The role of the MVOL is non-promotional in nature and serves as a trusted scientific partner to translate health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) and real-world evidence (RWE) to key PHDM stakeholders, while extracting actionable insights to support evidence-based healthcare decisions. Job Responsibilities Serve as a primary field medical lead togenerate and execute scientific discussions building awareness and clinically differentiating PTI therapies within assigned strategic accounts, inclusive of national community oncology large practice networks, IDN’s, Integrated Payor Provider Networks (IPPNs), payors, and GPOs Develop key opinion leader (KOL) and PHDM relationships across all assigned strategic account segments Contribute meaningfully as a key medical stakeholder within a highly collaborative matrix environment, focusing on supporting market access and the medical HEOR team through scientific exchange in PHDM discussions reviewing the clinical and pharmacoeconomic totality of evidence for PTI therapies leveraging RWE, economic modeling, value dossiers, and budget impact models Identify and facilitate approval of HEOR/RWE data generation opportunities aligned with medical affairs gap analysis and publication plans Collect insights to identify treatment barriers, patient identification challenges, and opportunities to ensure on-label inclusion of PTI therapies in clinical pathways, payor pathways, and treatment order sets Enhance PTI field medical affairs reporting capabilities to quantify the value of field medical activities on executed tactics Education & Professional Background The qualified candidate will hold a doctoral degree in a health sciences-related field—such as a PharmD, DNP, MD, or PhD—or a master’s degree in health sciences along with relevant and extensive industry experience, and a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape 2-3+ years of related work experience (MSL, Market Access, Managed Care, Value and Access); 2+ years of HEOR/RWE experience preferred In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry including the pharmaceutical industry (R&D, clinical research, and commercialization) as well as the managed care marketplace, hospital systems, and integrated systems of care Competency in medical science, epidemiology, clinical trials, drug development, outcomes research, and Pharmacoeconomics including a deep understanding of research methods, health economics, and related disciplines Proven experience building KOL relationships or related therapeutic area with established track record of developing relationships with top tier medical experts Previous experience of working within Hematology/Oncology preferred Knowledge of the PhRMA, OIG and other relevant guidelines Good understanding of the clinical development process and the ICH-GCP guidelines Competencies Leadership – ethical, ambitious, focused, organized Customer-oriented – analyze and meet/exceed customers’ needs Excellent communication skills – verbal and written Responsible – timely and explicit feed-back to customers on agreements Transparency – flat decision structure and communication Accountability – Independent decision-making (impartiality, competence and ethics) Ability to act locally, also in accordance with main priorities of the company Attitude And Demeanor Proud Pharmacosmos ambassador Strong interpersonal, organizational, team, written and verbal communication skills Strong personal leadership Inspire cross-functional transparency and collaboration Customer-centric ‘can-do’ attitude and goal focused Ambitious, independent, analytical, collaborative, loyal, organized Solutions oriented Flexibility Our roles can evolve over time. Additional Information Field-based role – must be located within 1 hour of an airport. Travelling – ability to travel up to 70% (based on the size of respective geography).
