Machine Repair Technician10 Hour Days - 6:30am-4:30pm Monday-ThursdayAs a Machine Repair Technician, you'll be a key hands-on problem solver responsible for keeping our manufacturing equipment and building systems operating at peak performance. This is an advanced, skilled maintenance role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across the plant.If you enjoy variety, technical challenges, and being the person others rely on when equipment goes down, this role is for you.What You'll DoTroubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems, including power distribution, solid-state controllers, press schematics, and safety systemsPerform mechanical repairs on gear reducers, bearings, belts, pulleys, sprockets, clutches, and HVAC componentsDiagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems on presses, die cutters, lift tables, pallet trucks, and other production equipmentTime, calibrate, and maintain feeders and presses; respond to mechanical breakdowns efficientlyTroubleshoot HVAC systems, including burners, motors, blowers, and controlsPerform preventive maintenance based on established schedulesEstimate repair time, required parts, and costsMove, install, or modify equipment as manufacturing needs changeCommunicate clearly with teammates and across shifts to ensure smooth handoffsFollow all safety, environmental, and quality standards, stopping production when quality issues ariseUse Serigraph's ERP system and SPECS quality system to support documentation and complianceWhat Success Looks Like at SerigraphYou'll thrive here if you:Take ownership and accountability for resultsSpeak up, ask questions, and close gapsFollow procedures while still thinking criticallyEnjoy troubleshooting, fixing problems, and improving systemsValue teamwork, quality, and safety just as much as productivityWhat We're Looking ForRequired:High school diploma or equivalentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsSolid understanding of safety practices, housekeeping, and PPEAbility to follow procedures and work independentlyPreferred:2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsWho is Serigraph?Serigraph has over 70 years of experience in printing, advanced decorating technologies and graphic solutions for the automotive, appliance, consumer, medical, power sports, and point-of-purchase markets.
