Role Description The Real Estate Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing legal documents, coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties, and assisting with due diligence and closing logistics. The role involves reviewing contracts, leases, and title insurance documentation, tracking key dates and deliverables, and maintaining accurate case files and checklists. The paralegal will also help resolve document issues, gather required information, and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Staten Island, NY. Qualifications Ability to prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts and closing packages, with strong skills in Legal Document Preparation. Experience conducting Due Diligence for real estate transactions, including reviewing property records and identifying issues that may affect closing. Knowledge of Title Insurance processes, including coordinating title searches, reviewing reports, and addressing title exceptions. Familiarity with Leases and Commercial Real Estate matters, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking lease terms and related agreements. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused demeanor. Proficiency with common office software and legal practice management tools; ability to learn new systems quickly. Prior experience as a real estate paralegal or in a real estate law firm environment preferred. Associate’s or bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
