Automotive Alignment Technicians

Overview Automotive Alignment Technicians are sought for full-time roles in the Miami Gardens, FL area as part of the Mavis Tire Family (NTB and Tire Kingdom). Mavis operates one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 retail locations. Responsibilities Use the latest equipment to align newly mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles. Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true. Complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs, and perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires, or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. It is preferred that Automotive Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license. As an active position, be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated movements. Must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
