Position Highlights Specialty: Body Imaging / Abdominal Imaging CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Fluoroscopy Modalities: CT (oncology, trauma, abdomen/pelvis, liver, pancreas, GU, bowel); MRI (liver, biliary, prostate, pelvis, rectal staging, renal); Ultrasound (abdomen, pelvis, vascular, Doppler); X-ray/Fluoroscopy (GI/GU contrast, feeding tube placements) Schedule: REMOTE - Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM (8-hour shifts); schedules posted 90 days in advance Call: Rotating 1:4 weekends; optional evening/weekend extra shifts available at premium hourly rates Volume: 80-120 cases per 8-hour shift (mixed modality) Setting: 100% remote reading across a prestigious multi-hospital system Hospital Network: Huron Valley-Sinai (Level III), Harper University (Level I academic), Detroit Receiving (Level I adult trauma), Sinai-Grace (Level II), and Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan Team: Full-spectrum subspecialty group including Neuro, MSK, Pediatric, Nuclear Medicine, IR, Breast/Women's Imaging, and Emergency Radiology; IR supported by four Physician Assistants Teaching: Active participation in resident and medical student education supported by an on-site residency program FTE Flexibility: Customizable contracts from 0.6 to 1.0 FTE What We Offer Compensation: Base salary for 10,000 annual wRVUs; paid per wRVU above threshold Enhanced sign-on bonus for qualified candidates Fellowship Stipend - Earn While You Learn Customizable FTE contracts (0.6-1.0) to match your lifestyle and career goals Flexible PTO with reliable coverage ensuring true work-life balance Career development opportunities in quality initiatives, leadership, and medical education Malpractice insurance plus tail coverage provided Health, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Deferred compensation program Relocation assistance Candidate Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR or equivalent) Fellowship training in Body Imaging, Abdominal Imaging, or Cross-Sectional Imaging Strong interpretive skills in CT, MRI, and Ultrasound Commitment to communication, quality, and efficiency in a high-volume environment Passion for resident education and continuous professional improvement Why Detroit Detroit is a city in the middle of a remarkable resurgence a dynamic blend of Midwest grit, creative energy, and genuine community pride.
