This full-time, outpatient-only position within the Sentara Medical Group (SMG) Division of Neurology is for a Fellowship-Trained Movement Disorders Neurologist. Candidates will obtain an EVMS faculty appointment in the Department of Neurology, providing an opportunity for academic growth.This unique position will harness the existing infrastructure of Sentara Medical Group's Comprehensive Movement Disorders Program to grow a Movement Disorders practice within the Lawrence J. Goldrich Institute for Integrated Neuro-Health, complementing the existing EVMS Memory Disorders program and outpatient Palliative Care service. The primary role will be providing comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients. Additional teaching or research opportunities are also available.This exciting joint opportunity offers the best of both worlds by combining a private practice model with academic opportunity. The successful candidate will be employed by SMG and receive SMG physician compensation and benefits.
