Our client is seeking a progressive and strategic Controller to join their growing organization following an internal promotion. - Lead and oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities for multiple entities totaling approximately $350M in revenue
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
- Manage, mentor, and develop accounting staff while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Oversee internal controls and annual controls assessments for U.S. and Canadian operations
- Partner with executive leadership to drive operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and business growth
- Lead ERP implementation efforts and finance process optimization projects
- Oversee treasury activities, including cash management, disbursements, and wire approvals
- Serve as primary contact for internal and external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives
- Additional leadership responsibilities and special projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- CPA strongly preferred
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Public accounting background highly preferred
- Prior experience within manufacturing, distribution, or another product-based environment preferred
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting and finance teams
- Strong ERP systems and process improvement experience
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
