About the Opportunity

An established outpatient healthcare network in Queens, NY, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their multidisciplinary team. This full-time, direct-hire opportunity provides comprehensive outpatient care in a supportive clinical environment with strong physician collaboration, dedicated clinical support staff, and a manageable daily patient schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services, including routine wellness exams, physicals, and preventative health screenings for adult/family patient populations.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses as well as chronic medical conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia).
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic lab work and imaging studies.
• Develop evidence-based treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with New York state regulations.
• Collaborate closely with supervising/collaborating physicians, mid-level colleagues, and specialists.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Qualifications

• Master s Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active, unencumbered New York State Nurse Practitioner License (FNP or AGPCNP).
• Board Certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Active New York DEA registration and Controlled Substance license.
• Minimum 1 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient primary care preferred (motivated new grads with strong RN/clinical background considered).
• Bilingual capabilities (e.g., Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, or South Asian languages) are a strong plus in this diverse community setting.
