Senior IT Business Analyst - Trading & Supply (Endur)

Join the ECI Group's Professional Technical Services Network as a contract Senior IT Business Analyst – Trading & Supply (Endur). This is a Houston, TX based contract role with an anticipated 12-month duration with an estimated start date of August 17th. Note: You must be a US Citizen or Permanent US Resident to qualify for this position.

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days Onsite)
Duration: August 17, 2026 Through August 30, 2027
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced  Senior IT Business Analyst to support Trading & Supply technology initiatives. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions that improve business processes and deliver measurable value.

The ideal candidate has deep experience supporting commodity trading organizations and hands-on expertise with the  Endur platform. This individual will work across multiple business and technology teams, driving requirements, solution design, testing, and implementation while helping modernize critical business capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
• Gather, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Evaluate solution options by assessing business value, feasibility, risks, and impacts.
• Develop and maintain detailed business requirements and process documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements remain traceable through design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Collaborate closely with developers, software vendors, architects, and project teams to deliver successful solutions.
• Support software configuration, testing coordination, and solution validation.
• Lead business analysis activities across multiple technology initiatives while balancing project scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Participate in Agile delivery teams and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of corporate IT experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
• Strong experience supporting Trading & Supply organizations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Endur platform.
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Cmotion
  • Deal Capture (Front Office)
  • Settlements & Accounting (Back Office)
  • Tax
• Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

Additional Information

• Hybrid schedule with a minimum of  three days per week onsite at One Thousand Main in downtown Houston.
