Exciting Opportunity for ICU RN – Start ASAP in Hawaii Job Description: - Join an incredible team in the ICU/CCU, providing specialized care for surgical patients and those with serious respiratory and cardiac conditions. - Must be open to working any shifts; commitment to 80 hours every two weeks is required. - Focus on meeting the individualized age-appropriate needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Work in a dynamic environment with a 4-bed setup, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:2 depending on acuity; extra support available when needed. - Participate in after-hours PACU recovery and engage with varied cases. - Emergency room experience is highly recommended. - Comprehensive orientation program including: - HR and in-service training. - Unit orientation with the nurse manager: 1-2 day shifts followed by 1-2 night shifts with a staff RN. - Complete an orientation and competency binder. - Opportunity to float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER, assisting according to your competency level. Certifications / Requirements: - Current ACLS certification. - Current BLS/BCLS certification. - Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
