Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Carthage, MO

8hrs. +Rotating Weekends

Full-Time Day. Part-Time Evenings. Part-Time Night

About the Role:

We're seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , you'll provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, administer medications, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with our residents, families, and other healthcare professionals are essential to providing exceptional care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as prescribed

• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the Healthcare Team

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Educate residents and their families on disease management, medication use, and other health-related topics

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care and service

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Missouri

• High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma or associate's degree in nursing preferred

• 1+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents; stand for long periods; and perform other physical demands of the job
