Opportunity for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in our outpatient rehab clinic in Raeford, NC.

You'll have the opportunity to provide one-on-one care to a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurologic, balance, geriatric and pain dysfunction patients. Responsibilities

• Provide one-on one therapy: Utilize a variety of techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and aquatic therapy, to deliver personalized care.
• Document patient progress: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices while maintaining accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers: Work closely with physicians, medical providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team: Collaborate with a large team of seasoned Physical Therapists (PTs), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs) and Speech, Language Pathologists (SLPs).
• Educate patients and families: Provide education on conditions, rehabilitation and the importance of ongoing self-care.
• Maintain a safe environment: Ensure a supportive and safe environment for both patients and staff.
• Pursue professional development: Participate in continuous professional development through continuing education opportunities and clinical ladder opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current NC PTA license
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate and motivate patients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
• Experience preferred but new graduate candidates considered
