Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-16:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: At least 1 year of General OR experience At least 1 year of Cardiac experience Description: This position involves working in a fast-paced cardiovascular surgery environment. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:1. Staffing includes RNs and 2 technicians per room. Advanced equipment such as the Davinci Robot XI is used. The documentation system in place is Meditech. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as CABG, valve replacements, TAVARs, TEVARs, robotic lung surgeries, VATS, and thoracotomies. A commitment to quality patient care is essential.
