Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Inpatient care in Burlington, VT. Start date 09/03/2026 for 4 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,022 to $2,139 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. This travel - temporary assignment involves a teaching-style inpatient setting with adult ICU, adult ED, and general pediatric care. Weekends may be required; no on-call, but schedule flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy for adult ICU and ED patients, plus general pediatric inpatients; no NICU or PICU assignments
- Manage ventilator support, airway adjuncts, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized treatments as ordered
- Perform arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation; adjust therapy per physician orders
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor patient response and document in Epic
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams; monitor patient status and escalate concerns promptly
- Ensure equipment upkeep, infection control, and adherence to protocols; complete required documentation accurately

Requirements
- Licensure: Current Respiratory Therapist license as an RRT; CRT not accepted
- Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS; NBRC verification; NRP required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior travel experience preferred
- Specialty and setting: Inpatient RRT work with adult ICU, adult ED, and general pediatric patients; teaching hospital experience required
- Education: Relevant professional education for respiratory care
- Additional notes: Epic experience within the past 2 years is required; all prior specialties and employment details should be well documented; willingness to work weekends as needed; reliable transportation required (public transit not available in the area)
