CALL CENTER OPERATOR

We have several openings for a part‑time CALL CENTER OPERATOR position. Location: Cleveland Clinic - Marymount - 12300 McCracken Rd, Garfield Heights, OH 44125. Online applications accepted only. Schedule: Shifts could include 6‑1:30pm, 7‑11am and 3‑7pm. Requirement: Some call center or food service experience. Pay Range: $17.00–$19.00 per hour. Job Summary Responsible for securing patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face‑to‑face interactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow proper telephone etiquette and procedures with patients, visitors and healthcare professionals. Offer menu alternatives as allowed on prescribed diet in accordance with food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic and religious preferences. Be responsive to patients' needs at all times; resolve concerns or complaints immediately and/or report needed assistance to supervisor as appropriate. Comply with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations. Interact with nursing staff to ensure patient diet prescriptions are accurate and patient food needs are met. Adhere to facility confidentiality and patients' rights policy as outlined in HIPAA policies and procedures. Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. Follow HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply. Complete all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned.
