Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Greenville, South Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Respiratory Therapist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/12/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 12, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of Adult Critical Care experience and Trauma Level I experience.Details\n \n Adult critical care and neuro diagnostics respiratory therapy unit\n Adult and geriatric patient population\n Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM\n Every other weekend required\n Floating to other units or campuses as needed, within qualified competencies\n Uses Epic EMR\n Requirements\n \n Active RRT license required in SC (License required if applicable)\n Current ACLS and BLS certifications\n Minimum 2 years of experience required\n Trauma Level I experience required\n Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required\n Proficient in adult critical care work settings including extubation, airway placement, suctioning, and tracheostomy care\n Experienced in administering respiratory medications including albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, and Xopenex\n Experience delivering medications via aerosol mask/trach setups, Medihaler, and MDI\n Experience with hand held, T-piece, and trach collar nebulizers\n Experience with high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy\n Experience with BiPAP, CPAP, ventilator weaning, and troubleshooting high pressure alarms\n Ability to interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)\n Additional Information\n \n Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostic care to adult and geriatric patients\n Perform pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care/management\n Work within a critical care team supporting mechanical ventilation and airway management\n Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks\n First-time travelers accepted\n Local candidates accepted subject to radius rule criteria\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-754861.
