Job Description

Description

Verify product to purchase orders or Receiving slip
Check received goods for damage
Comply with safety regulations
Ship finished product (packing, labeling, etc.) in accordance with shipping order.
Prepare Bills of Lading and Packing List and any other paperwork needed for shipment.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Superintendent
Clear receiving docks of material in a timely manner
Prepare Shipping and Receiving Inventories High school education or equivalent.
Distribute received goods to appropriate departments by use of Fork Lift Keep and file all documentation on material received.
Ability to operate Fork Lift Ability to lift a min of 80 pounds safely and correctly
Ability to use various measuring equipment required for job Copy of diploma or certificate on file, or evidence of work history as equivalent.
Valid Fork Lift License on file Demonstrate ability to lift 80 pounds safely and correctly Demonstrate ability to use various measuring equipment required for job
Reports to: Shipping/Receiving/Processing Supervisor

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Ability to operate Fork Lift Ability to lift a min of 80 pounds safely and correctly
Ability to use various measuring equipment required for job
Must have a clean drivers record
Proficient or intermediate in computer skills
Must have a personal car
