• Wednesday: 8:00am–12:00pm and 8:00pm–12:00am

Medcor is looking to hire a part-time EMT, Paramedic, or LPN to join our team as an Onsite Health Technician in our employer-based occupational health clinic in Alma, KS .

This is a great opportunity for an EMT or Paramedic looking to use their clinical skills outside of traditional EMS, or an LPN interested in a unique clinic setting with a consistent part-time schedule.

As an Onsite Health Technician, you'll be a trusted healthcare resource for employees, providing first aid and injury care, supporting workplace health and wellness, and helping employees safely return to work following an injury or illness.

What You'll Do

Clinical Care & Injury Management

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.

• Evaluate injured employees and guide care using Medcor's evidence-based treatment protocols.

• Respond to workplace medical situations and determine the appropriate level of care.

• Support workers' compensation case management and return-to-work initiatives.

• Coordinate care and follow-up with outside medical providers when necessary.

• Perform pre-employment and post-offer screenings and Physical Assessment Testing (PATs), as applicable.

Clinic Operations & Employee Support

• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite occupational health clinic.

• Provide exceptional service to employees and our client.

• Support onsite employee health, wellness, and safety initiatives.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using our electronic medical record system.

• Assist with medical charting, case management, and OSHA recordkeeping.

• Build strong relationships with employees, client leadership, Safety teams, and Medcor's clinical and operational teams.

What You Need

• Current EMT, Paramedic, or LPN licensure/certification required for the position.

• Current CPR/BLS certification .

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Comfortable working independently and making sound clinical decisions within established protocols.

• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn electronic medical record systems and other technology.

• Ability to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag.

• A patient-focused approach and commitment to providing excellent care.

It's a Plus If You Have

• Occupational health or worksite clinic experience.

• Emergency medicine, EMS, urgent care, or critical care experience.

• Experience with workers' compensation, injury management, or return-to-work programs.
