We empower our team to embrace personal development, technology and diversity to deliver unparalleled service.We are seeking a Warehouse Dockworker to load and unload trailers in our Denver, CO location to load and unload trailers.Responsibilities:Proper loading in and out of trailersHandle goods and equipment properly to avoid damage or breakageSort and label skids and place in proper locationsPerform inventory count based on bills of lading, trailer manifests or packing slips when loading and unloading goods and when loading and unloading shipments and returnsAssist drivers in loading / unloading of goods or equipmentPerforms daily routine inspection to forkliftMaintain good housekeeping around dock areaStack goods neatly and safelySubmit needed reports and information in a timely mannerPerform basic arithmetical calculations including addition, subtraction, division and multiplicationAssist supervisor in providing on the job training to new staff, participants, clients and volunteersLoad and secure shipments according to proper procedureUnderstand and implement safe, efficient freight handling and lifting proceduresRegular and reliable attendance is required, overtime only if there is a business needOther duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:One year forklift operating experiencePallet Jack experienceFreezer/Cooler warehouse environmentAbide by and enforce the policies and procedures of FFETimely and efficient completion of tasks and responsibilitiesPromote teamwork and cooperative effortIt'd be great if you also had:Previous warehouse experience in the transportation industry at companies like Amazon, FedEx, or United Parcel ServiceA desire to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment working alongside top management in the industryThe statements above are intended to describe the general nature of the list of job requirements and/or duties performed by the employees and may not contain all capabilities necessary to perform the job at all times due to circumstances.
