Nursing Unit Manager $2,000 Sign-On Bonus About the Role Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Nursing Unit Manager to oversee the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit and lead a team of nurses and nursing assistants. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN or LPN with skilled nursing experience who is ready to take the next step into a leadership or unit management role. Responsibilities Oversee the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit Supervise, support, and provide direction to nurses and nursing assistants Ensure residents receive high-quality care in accordance with individualized care plans Monitor residents' conditions and communicate changes to physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team Participate in resident assessments and care plan meetings Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies Assist with staff scheduling, training, performance management, and ongoing education Support infection control, quality assurance, and risk management initiatives Help prepare the unit and staff for state and federal surveys and regulatory inspections Promote a positive, collaborative, and resident-focused environment Qualifications Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts Previous skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience required Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or unit management experience strongly preferred Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and survey requirements Ability to lead and support a nursing team in a fast-paced healthcare environment Compensation & Benefits $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan Supportive leadership team Professional growth and advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center
