Job Responsibilities
- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design personalized therapy strategies aimed at achieving their functional milestones
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-driven methods to boost patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily habits
- Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with a variety of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and holistic treatment
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic practices to encourage sustained progress at home
- Track and Adjust Treatment Outcomes: Monitor clinical developments and fine-tune interventions as necessary, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications are actively encouraged
- Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
