Senior Director, Corporate Strategy & Development (Remote)

Cencora, a Fortune 10 pharmaceutical and healthcare solutions company, seeks a Senior Director of Corporate Strategy & Development to partner with C-suite leadership on enterprise strategy, growth opportunities, and market intelligence. This remote role reports to the VP of Corporate Strategy and involves evaluating acquisitions, shaping long-term priorities, and driving cross-functional transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership to define corporate strategy and long-term priorities
- Lead evaluation of business opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Conduct market research and translate competitive intelligence into executive recommendations
- Drive high-priority strategic initiatives from concept through execution across business units
- Oversee budgets and resource planning for strategic projects with measurable outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA strongly preferred
- 10+ years in corporate strategy, corporate development, or market development
- Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate development
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with ability to structure complex problems
- Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives and advising senior leaders
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
- Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
