General Accountant

To support financial operations, the full-time salaried General Accountant will manage consortium-wide accounting and reporting, assist with financial audits, and streamline processes while working onsite in Juneau, AK or Renton, WA, or remotely across the USA. Key responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports and support annual external audits Collaborate with corporate departments to enhance financial operations and improve user experiences with accounting processes Manage fixed asset accounting and assist in the integration of new business units and technologies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or accounting setting, preferably with tribal and non-profit clients Experience in financial reporting, including grants reporting and financial analysis Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
